My mom was stricter than my dad I guess but when my dad was strict,he was on certain subjects it was tougher somehow.
My father is not strict, he wants to control me.

neither were what you would consider strict. But my mom was the stricter one of the two. My dad is extremely easy going. As for my son, I am the stricter one, but also the more understanding one. His dad lets him get away with too much, and understands very little about why he does what he does.
