beaches in Croatia
I would like spent my holidays in August in Croatia, where are the best beaches?!?!
But not too much in the south, I'm from Austria and I don't like to drive with the car over 7-8 hours.

Unfortunately, the best beaches are actually in the south, near Makarska (at least from my experience). But I haven't been much at the northern coast. Yet, I can reccomend the island Krk - there's a nice long beach in a place called Baška.
