I thought she was doing really well, she was loosing weight and then she had a heart attack. It was really sad.

It's real and happening all over America apparently, it showed a man afterwards who was about 71 stones which although I don't know how much that is in pounds was bigger than Renee.

Poor women!!! I just cant understand how she got that big!! I dont exercise much and i just love candy, but there is no way in the world that I would get that big!!!

Ah, i saw that too. It's sad for heavy people, can't imagine that anyone enjoys being that big.. But the thing i don't understand is why they let it go so far.

I can't imagine getting to the stage where I could possibly be enough food to make me that kind of weight.
I wish that the medical profession could have stepped in a whole lot sooner. At a stage where surgery was still possible to do reasonably safely.

Well, it's not exactly happening all over America..
It's still a novelty to be that obese or they wouldn't be featuring it..
I only see it myself on television shows.

I did hear a story of a woman who's flesh had actually merged with the fabric of a couch and she couldn't even move for years.
Imagine..not bathing or going to the bathroom..
that's probably what welded her to the fabric iin the first place.
.
I believe her size was similar to the one that is mentioned..
But you know someone had to be there to enable her to keep piling it in.
And come to think of it...you're only going to see these people on tv because they can't get out of the house.

The mind seeks and the spirit yearns. But the heart knows what the heart knows.

There are probably many many of these people and we just don't know about them as they are not able to leave their houses, and are embarrassed to ask for help.

I remember watching that show about Renee, she made a home video asking ANY surgeon to concider giving her gastricbypass surgery, cause all were turning her down, they wont do surgery on people over like 600 pounds. Anyways, some surgeon, (probably for money/publicity) said he would do her surgery, and she died a few days after because she was too damn fat to recover properly. The whole thing was sad and pitiful really. I mean who the hell keeps feeding these super overweight people? I mean, they cant even get out of bed, so somebody is giving them food, A SHIT load of food. Im sorry, but I dont care how "slow" your metabolism is, to maintain weighing 900 lbs, you have to consume ALOT of calories. I mean, even just laying there, you burn calories, even when you sleep. And they're heart is pumpin so hard they probably burn more calories than the average person laying around.

No, i can't imagine it, but then, i can't imagine eating myself to 40 stone. I'm tired of all those so-called 'documentaries' that are infact, just televisual freak shows for people to gawk at. They're fairly disgusting, really.
