Do you exercise in the morning?

As soon as I'm out of bed (ha!) I like to do a mixture of pressups, weight lifting and stomach crunches and some squats to boot.

Does anybody else do a light work out in the morning?

I cycle to the railway station
(take a train to get from point A to point B)
I walk from the railway station to school.

Enough exercise for me in the morning. On the way to school there is a 400m long hill.

I go to the gym most mornings (if I can't, I go in the early afternoon). I usually do 40-45 minutes of weight training followed by 25-30 minutes of cardio.

i prefer to lift heavy weights in the afternoon and go for a run in the mornings

maleRabJab2 | 13 January 2010 - 7:19pm

I've very recently started lifting weights again. Light weights, mind you. I used to do that a few years back but i stopped and since i've been feeling weak and crappy lately, and since my arms have become shadows of their former selves, i decided to do a short daily routine every day. My arms after the first couple of days were in agony. Laughing They don't hurt anymore and i feel a lot tighter and stronger in my upper body, and it seems to be doing some good. I don't do it in the morning though, not usually anyway. Usually in the evening.

I usually undergo a period of "why bother?" when it comes to weights where I lose interest and subsequently bitch and whine about not being as strong as I should be. Then it's back to square one again and i start lifting again Laughing
