The Aftermath of the train crash

The parliamentarians had yesterday their chance to "interrogate" the minister of mobility as well as the 3 CEO's of the railway companies. Bringing back things that have been decided over 20 years ago, discussing why in 1987 they stopped the implementation of a safety system.

What is the use of looking back in time for over 20 years while investigating the reason why the 15th February train crash happened? I really seem to lack why people so long ago should be even questioned, but well that is maybe me.

I heard the traindriver was already suspended last year for a while?

Yes after driving through a red light on the way to the washing place. He was suspended for a few months, then could drive a train again accompanied with an instructor and since a few months he has been driving alone again.

I guess he'll only be driving Märklin trains from now on.
