child abduction alert from QLD Police

The Queensland Police Service is still seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a missing boy and girl from Mareeba.

Simon “Sam” Elmas is believed to be travellilng in a 1996 grey Volvo sedan with 15-year-old Kai Elmas and 11-year-old Romany Elmas.

Police have released an image of all three missing persons.

The car is a 1996 grey Volvo sedan with Queensland registration 461 DHS.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information to contact police. Members of the public are urged not to approach the vehicle or the man and to immediately call police on Triple Zero ‘000’.

Prue Macsween always in the midst of controversy by her statements..We see her over and over on Beauty and the Beast putting forth her opinions and causing a raucous between the panel...But what about her statement on the channel 7 show Sunrise that has seen her apologise?? Is it any different to a debate between the politicians?Two different views neither holds water with anyone unless you take it out of context like many have and make it a big deal..Prue is infamous for the shock/horror factor her statement"boys are so bloody retarded"was her having a dig just some off the cuff remark she's know for but the pc idiots have associated the word retarded to the topic.."Should special needs kids be in mainstream schools" after a teacher is suing for straining her larynx screaming at these "special kids".

Just as i was commenting to a fellow aussie here i started to remember the "risque" tele show Blankety Blanks..I started laughing to myself and thinking of "Peter the phantom puller,Tony the moustache twirler, Cyril,dick,dora, the wee,poo bum episode where Graham was getting his own back for the "faaaaarkkkkk"crow fiasco...
What good memories i have of that 6pm tv slot..any more shows you can think of that had that kind of wit and had you in stitches like the cast of Blankety Blanks did????

Prime Minister Julia Gillard is preparing to outline a recalibrated asylum seeker policy.
The prime minister on Monday evening met with colleagues at a federal cabinet meeting to discuss Labor's election strategy, including a new and tougher stance on border protection.

It is understood Ms Gillard could announce changes to Labor's asylum seeker policy as early as Tuesday, including whether or not to lift a three-month freeze on the processing of protection claims for Sri Lankans.

Child legal custody case

A seven year old boy was at the centre of a courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with the child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.

..... after watching an Essendon and Hawks footie match in Melbourne during my recent holiday, I thought: Wow these guys are fast!! they played like there was no tomorrow, amidst the seagulls flying all around them...it was amazing to watch!! So what happened when they played Germany in the World Cup last week?? Come on Australia, you can do it!! I want you to win!!
